Remembering Reagan...
Even though its been over 10 years since we've even heard from the Gipper, and we all knew he suffered too long from Alzheimer's, Reagan's death still caught me by surprise. He was the reason I switched parties (and before I was even old enough to vote). He was a national symbol of inspiration. Ron added leadership, flair and optimism the country desperately needed at that time. Perhaps Iran-Contra, 'Reaganomics' and a few other events darken his shining memory, but even a decade later, Jesus Jones' one-hit-wonder-hit celebrated Reagan's victory over the Berlin wall. That one triumph along with his unstoppable passion for the American spirit may well be all that's needed to remember. So Right Here, Right Now... here's to one of the U.S.'s best President's. :)
