Toronto and a funeral...
I'm very sad to type this... today, Margaret had to say 'goodbye' to her father. He had been in the hospital about a week with several health complications including phenomena. We found out wed and flew out thursday (thank God for "AA" mileage points). The service today was quite pleasant and actually made me feel somewhat happy after I had been feeling very sad (especially for Margaret and her family). The day ended up being somewhat of a 'celebration' honouring her dad and a day where family and friends were able to interact, cry, laugh and share emotions. I learned a lot more about my father-in-law and even a little bit more about myself.
If you ever wonder if you're doing what's right in life, pause and think what your family and friends would say about you at your funeral and it puts it all in perspective.
